Made an outdoor table from an rotted rustic board. Legs are white pine branches with the bark stripped.
Prior to slitting the tenon I would recommend a strain relief hole, as lacking it caused one tenon to crack. So drilled it out and made another leg.

Definitely a fun project.
Do I dare ask if it’s surface made any attempts at being level?

mostly. The board is slightly warped. I assembled the legs . smoothed the top of the tenons to the board . Flipped upside down, cut the legs, checked with the level and fine tuned the bottom of the legs with a sander. Its going on pea gravel around a firepit So what I did was overkill.

Enjoyable and worthwhile. It was only overkill if nobody will appreciate it. Which doesn’t seem likely.
